Crunchy Stuffed Mushrooms with cream cheese


10 oz mushrooms
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 small green chili, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
5 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
2 tbsp bread crumbs, some more before baking

  • Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit¬†
  • Separate the branch from mushroom cap and chop the branch into small pieces along with other vegetables
  • In a pan fry chopped onion, mushroom, green chili and season with pinch of salt, black pepper and garlic powder, cook for about 2-3 minutes
  • Add cilantro and lemon juice and keep it aside to cool in room temperature
  • Once cooled, add cream cheese and breadcrumbs, combine together
  • Fill the mixture into all mushroom caps. Top with breadcrumbs and bake for 20 mins
  • Crunchy stuffed mushrooms are ready to be served
