Eggnog Recipe

Eggnog, aka milk punch or egg milk punch, is a perfect sweet, thick, creamy, and delicious alcoholic drink for any occasion, mainly Christmas and the holidays.

In this recipe, I show you how easily you can make an eggnog drink in your kitchen, from scratch. This homemade eggnog recipe will wow everyone, with its thick, sweet, creamy, and smooth flavor.


Whole milk – 1 cup

Half n Half – 1 cup

Vanilla extract – 2 tsp

Cinnamon stick – 2 pieces

Clove powder – 1/4 tsp

Egg yolk – 4

Sugar – 1/3 cup

Triple sec liqueur – 1/2 cup

Moonshine – 1/2 cup

  1. In medium heat, add and mix well milk, half n half, vanilla extract, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil. Once it boils, set it aside.
  2. Combine egg yolk and sugar. Add sugar slowly while mixing. Mix it well.
  3. Pour the earlier boiled milk slowly, while mixing the yolk mixture.
  4. Add moonshine and triple sec liqueur and mix it well.
  5. Add clove powder and mix it well.
  6. Pour it into a mason jar and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy! You could add clove powder on top.
