All-purpose flour – 2 cups

Sugar – 1/3 cup

Baking powder – 1/2 tsp

Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Melted ghee – 1/3 cup

Warm water – 1/2 cup

Sunflower oil – To deep fry

  1. Stain all dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Add melted ghee and mix it very well.
  3. Add warm water steadily and mix to make a khajuri dough.
  4. Cover it and set aside in room temperature for 2-3 hours.
  5. After 2-3 hours, roll the dough and cut into small portions.
  6. Make small bowl shaped khajuri. Mark the outer khajuri with a fork.
  7. On a low heat, add oil enough to deep fry in a flat pan.
  8. Fry until golden brown.
  9. Serve and enjoy khajuri!
