Pork Sekuwa in oven

This recipe teaches you how to easily make pork sekuwa in the oven, where you do not need to deal with the smoke that you normally see elsewhere. Ingredients:

To Marinate Pork:

1 lb 3.2 oz boneless pork

1.5 tsp ginger powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1.5 tsp cumin powder

1.5 tsp coriander powder

1.5 tbsp kashmiri chili powder

4 tbsp cooking oil

2 tbsp lime juice

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1.5 tsp garam masala

1.5 tsp onion powder

salt to taste

Instructions:
  1. To marinate the pork, mix all the spices in a bowl. Add chopped pork cubes and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hrs or overnight.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  3. Skewer the marinated pork cubes. Place the threaded skewer in a baking tray, about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes or until tender, turning once or twice. 
  5. Serve the sekuwa garnished with onion and lime.
