This video shows an easy way to make homemade turkey sliders with flavorful spices and a “secret sauce” served with sweet potato fries. Tip: Do not press a lot on the turkey patties while cooking, else juicy flavor gets lost.
Ingredients:
Ground Turkey – 1.24 lbs
Chopped Onion – 1/3 cup
Chopped Cilantro – 1/4 cup
Bread Crumbs – 3 tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce – 2 tbsp
Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Black Pepper – 1 tsp
Salt – 3 tsp
Olive Oil – 2 tbsp x 2
Butter – 2 tbsp
Cheese Slices – 6
Dinner Rolls – 6
Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
Siracha – 1 tbsp
Pickles and Lettuce (for toppings)
Steps:
- To make turkey patties, in a big bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, cilantro, bread crumbs, 2 tbsp olive oil, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it well.
- to make a patty, take some oil in your hand and scoop the meat mixture, make a ball, and press with another hand.
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Add cheese slices on top and cover for a minute. Keep it aside.
- On the same pan, add some butter and toast the bun on both sides. Keep it aside.
- To prepare the sauce, in a small bowl, add mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Mix it well.
- Make a slider by spreading the sauce on both sides of the bun, then add lettuce, turkey patty, pickle, and cover with the other side.
- Turkey slider is ready to be served.
