Ingredients:

Tofu – 14 oz

Large red onion – 1/2

Yellow bell pepper – 1/2

Green bell pepper – 1/2

Jalapeno – 1

Mini red pepper – 2

Green onions – 3

Olive oil – 2 tbsp x 2

Salt – 1 tsp (1st) | 1/2 tsp (2nd)

Black pepper – 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Garlic paste – 1/2 tbsp

Ginger paste – 1/2 tbsp

Tomato sauce – 4 oz

Soy sauce – 1 tbsp

Hot sauce – 1/2 tbsp

Steps:
  1. Squeeze water out of tofu by pressing with a heavy object for 15-20 minutes. Drain the water.
  2. Chop the tofu into bite-size squares/rectangles.
  3. Heat oil on a medium size pan over medium heat. Fry tofu for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Keep it aside in a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  4. On the same pan, fry chopped onion, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, salt, and black pepper. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 more minute. Add tofu, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. 
  6. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce. Fry for 1-2 more minutes. 
  7. Garnish with spring onion and roasted sesame seeds on top.
