The Yummiest Chicken Shyafaley, Shaphaley, Shaphale, Sha Phaley, Shya Faley Recipe


There are several spellings to it (Shyafaley, Shaphaley, Shaphale, Sha Phaley, or Sha Faley) as you can tell. Regardless of the way you spell Shyaphale, this recipe teaches you how to make Chicken Shyaphale (A Tibetan Street Food) in about 7 mins. I am sure you gonna love it.


For marinating:
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 inch ginger, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 .5 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper

For Stir-fry:
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
marinated chickenĀ 

For dough:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup warm water

For Deep frying:
Vegetable oil

  1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients and set it aside.
  2. Add olive oil on hot pan , add chopped onion and fry for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Add chopped cilantro and turn of the heat.
  5. For dough, take flour on a bowl, add salt and mix.
  6. Add warm water and combine to make a soft dough.
  7. Set it aside for 10-15 minutes covered in room temperature.
  8. Dust the surface with flour and roll dough to make quarter inch thick wrap.
  9. Place fried chicken in the middle of the wrap and wet the edges with water.
  10. Make syafale as shown in the video.
  11. Deep fry syafale for 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat.
  12. Serve hot syafale with your favorite sauce.
