Homemade Chicken Puff Pastry Recipe | Crunchy and Savory Snack | Easy Pastry Puffs

These delicious homemade chicken puff pastries are crunchy from the outside and soft and savory from the inside. A perfect snack or appetizer for a party! This easy recipe teaches you how to make chicken puff pastry at your home. These chicken pastry puffs are very well can be enjoyed as an appetizer. This recipe is my own personal version of savory puff pastry with chicken which is perfect for snacking or with a glass of wine. Yum!


2 lb chopped boneless chicken
1 cup chopped onion
1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Puff pastry sheet (room temperature)
1 egg


1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp garam masala

  1. On a medium pan, fry finely chopped onion, add chopped boneless chicken and stir fry 5-6 minutes until lightly brown.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste with all the spices, stir and add tomato sauce and water.
  3. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes and set it aside to cool completely.
  4. Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
  5. Roll pastry sheet to make 4 equal   square pieces.
  6. Egg brush the edges of each sheet and fill it up with chicken mixture.
  7. Fold the square into triangle shape and press with fork on the edges.
  8. Egg brush on the top of each pastry and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Serve hot for the crunchiness.
