Italian Sausage Spaghetti Recipe | A Twist with Cherry Tomatoes

The sausage spaghetti recipe should not have been difficult to make. So, I have built this recipe to make Italian cuisine that can be cooked at your home with comfort without any stress. This spaghetti sausage recipe can be cooked by all the food lovers who want a flavor of Italy. I have twisted the recipe in such a way that it is a healthier version of Italian homemade sausage spaghetti. You don’t need lots of ingredients for a dish with great flavor that you can enjoy with a glass of red wine!

Ingredients:

Spaghetti – 6 oz
Italian sausage – 1 lb
Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
3 Garlic cloves, minced
Cherry Tomatoes, halved – 10 oz
Fresh basil – 0.5 oz
Salt to taste
Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Red chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Parmesan cheese – 1/4 cup

Steps:
  1. Boil spaghetti noodle as per instruction with 1/2 tsp of salt. Cook until al dente.
  2. On a skillet, fry sausage without the skin and break into small pieces with spatula. Cook until no longer pink. 
  3. Add garlic paste, onion, cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, fresh basil. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add red chili flakes, noodle and water. Sauté for couple of minutes and grate some cheese.
  5. Garnish with basil and serve hot with your favorite red wine to make a perfect dinner night.
